The Miracle League of Westchester founded in 2005 by Mr. Stephen Madey is the first baseball program in the region that has created a specialized baseball program specifically designed for people of all ages with disabilities. The Miracle League’s mission is to provide the opportunity for person’s with disabilities to experience the joy and benefits that come from baseball. Miracle League is also an opportunity for children with disabilities to develop social skills as well as increase their self-esteem.
Opening day is set for Saturday, April 22nd with a kick off parade. Ken Hudson captains our Sunshine team, who will participate in Saturday morning games (9:30-11:30). The goal of Therapeutic Activities is to include as many children as possible, as the fresh air, recreation and socialization have so many benefits for the participants. All friends and family members are welcome to attend the games.
