The Therapeutic Activities Department, in partnership with our educational providers PinesBridge at Sunshine and Kids Clubhouse PreSchool, hosted their first-ever Sunshine Thanksgiving Parade. Each of the classrooms sponsored wheelchair floats while our awesome Sunshine staff cheered the children on the parade route as they rolled by!

On August 21st, a group of Sunshine children participated in a fun-filled swimming experience at Camp Sunshine, located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Camp Sunshine is a beautiful, serene property nestled in the hills of Dutchess County. The smiles on the children’s faces were priceless. The Therapeutic Activities Department hosted its Annual Art Show in the Sunshine Clubhouse (Art Gallery). All the children participated in creating beautiful masterpieces using various mediums such as paint, markers, and tissue paper while engaging in the hand-over-hand method. The show ran from August 29 to September 2.
