Sunshine Children’s Home & Rehab is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Clinical Nurse Manager. Our children require specialized, family-centered care, and we are looking for a leader who shares our commitment to excellence, empathy, and safety.
Position Overview
The Clinical Nurse Manager will oversee the daily operations of one of our four Pediatric Units, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice, regulatory compliance, staff performance, and family communication. This role is ideal for an experienced pediatric nurse leader with a passion for caring for medically complex children within a collaborative, supportive team. Required Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, or similar role)
- Active NYS RN license
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and team development skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Commitment to family-centered, trauma-informed care
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs in a high-acuity pediatric environment
- Ensure exceptional quality of care for infants and toddlers with complex medical needs
- Oversee scheduling, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance evaluations
- Collaborate closely with Medical Providers, Respiratory Therapy, Social Work, Rehab Services, and Families
- Maintain compliance with DOH regulations, infection prevention standards, and facility policies
- Support staff with clinical decision-making and emergency response
Pay: $120,000.00 – $155,000.00 per year
